Walk in my shoes ...

Went for a walk around the park
over looking the tarmac,
a place that he brought me when he was alive,
a place that I found joy within myself,
a place where I found peace within myself,
remembering the days when we were there,
memories that make my heart felt sad,
sad 'coz I've to face my journey by myself,
dealing with all of my everyday things by myself,

This shoulders are getting heavier each passing day,
wishing I have someone to just sit next to me,
just be a friend to me,
just listen to me without being judgemental,

Sitting down with feet propped up,
the windy breeze passing through my face,
closing my eyes,
imagining the days we were there,
imagining how much fun I had with him,
makes my heart yearned for that one more time,
but it's only a wish,
my heart been broken once,
now, it's trying to heal,
with the love he gave me,
I could feel it while sitting down overlooking the tarmac ...
